I’m procrastinating today, much like I did yesterday and the day before. I have plenty to do, but nothing that is due.
I’ve been exploring word clouds with first Wordle.net and then Tagxedo.com, finding the latter to have much greater customization control.
I was curious what topics I might tweet about most often. Was it usability, customer experience, or business strategy? Boy, was I surprised by the word cloud generated below, which I have tweaked a little bit. My most often tweeted word was “Thanks” which showed up in a huge, huge font that overwhelmed the remainder of the words, thus I removed it. I also removed all the @names to clean it up.
What was left was even more interesting because I usually tweet about business topics and two-thirds of my followers are people I don’t have a personal relationship with, yet my most tweeted words include LOVE! Yes, passion is up there too – but that is a result of a recent blog posting with passion in the title – it’s an anomaly.
What’s all this mean? Nothing really, just something else to help me procrastinate and pretend I’m doing something productive. But I do LOVE writing, and reading, and tweeting, and learning and being part of a social network that constantly energizes my brain and often touches my heart!
