Behind My Logo

My Logo

So… what is that swirling thing?

I developed my “logo” over 10 years ago when I went out on my own. While I was alone in my office, I realized that I was not alone in my work.  To my work I brought a perspective formed from the people and experiences in my life.

My experiences with strong, bonded teams, both at Brunner and marchFIRST, combined with my personal experience of a growing family, led me to the conclusion that my work self is only as good as the people, places, things and experiences around me.  Surround yourself with the positive, the enlightening, the challenging and the inspiring. Read, explore, listen, share, try, do, grow…  This is what makes you better, and your work better.

More tactically, in the logo, the spheres are the people that inspire me, the experiences I have had, the work that I am proud of, the recognition I’ve earned, and my learning that never stops. In the center is the heart; it represents what “matters most” — my family.

Below is a gallery of just a few of the people that inspire me most.

I wish I had photos of some of my other teams – but a shout out to the crew at marchFIRST, those that helped me build Sharp Creative, and of course the “girls” at NREIS… You’ve all been an inspiration to me along the way.
